Other Matter / Fluff Corp. Collaboration

Fluff Corp collaborated with Other Matter - an experimental studio working with algae-based bioplastics. Together we activated City of Melbourne’s Shop 5, Little Collins St Melbourne during Melbourne Design Week 2021. This pop up explored using algae-based bioplastics for future material innovation for a post petrol chemical future. Fluff Corp was involved in facilitating the Shop activation, catering some events and working with Other Matter to experiment with using bio-plastics as an alternative to mining intensive conventional ceramic glazes. This collab concluded with a series of work, an Exhibition of that work at Design Tasmania Women in Design and a publication of our work.
